Saturday, 15th February was the audition date for the maiden edition of the Eastern Mcee reality show. After a long day with the contestants and judges, the finalist were finally selected.
Out of about 55 music artistes who filed in their music freestyle videos to stand a chance of being auditioned in order to participate in the ‘ Eastern Mcee ‘ music reality show, 16 most skilled and ready to compete were selected to begin the long awaited reality show in the Eastern Region .
Below are the selected and the various communities/hoods they represent:

- Kobby Young – Kukurantumi
- Spy6 – Suhum
- Nathino – Koforidua
- King Sage – Kukurantumi
- Shatty Banks – Nankese
- Farms – Nsawam
- Michelle – Koforidua
- Milkyway – Koforidua
- Kutusie – Nkawkaw
- Tish – Afram Plains
- Kobby Geezy – Akim Oda
- Sir – Manning
- Don Bee – Akyem Tafo
- Addi khama – Nankese
- Khronicles – Koforidua
They were carefully selected by the judges after the second process of the auditions. It is in collaboration with four music producers in the Eastern Region, Zadour Music, Oppong on da beat, Drumboi , Vex beatz and K. Joe.
The 16 contestants was then put into four different groups where the producers will be coaching and guiding them throughout the competion. We have

And they will be producing their team artiste weekly performance songs.
The 16 who made it through the auditioning are made up of rap artistes, afropop artistes, dancehall artistes, high life artistes and gospel singers.
According to the organizers, every week there will be eviction until they get the final six(6) who will be contesting at the grand finalle for the grand prize.

- 1 year Promotion
- Recording deal
- Cash Prizes and many others which have not being disclosed yet.
Therefore, contestants are entreated to put in all their best to get to the finals.
