Asonaba Officially Presents ‘Sika’ to the Chiefs in Kwahu

A Highlife artist Asonaba Kwadwo Nomafo who doubles as a Journalist has finally presented his new Single, Sika to the Chiefs in Kwahu and it environs as part of Promoting the song and announce his presence to the chiefs in Kwahu and it’s environs.

Asonaba who is signed under Do Your Why Records was accompanied by his team on June 2nd, 2019 which is Akwasidae on the Kwahu Traditional calendar.

Kwahuhene Daasebre Akuamoa Agyepong who first received the CD congratulated Asonaba for such a wonderful piece of Music.

Receiving the CD, Abetifi Chief Akyemfuor Asiedu Agyemang II said he was so much pleased for Asonaba and his team for presenting them the Sika song which is one of the most played songs in Eastern Region and advised Asonaba to be focused and keep on producing good music to the people .

The Obomeng Chief Nana Effah Opinaman II who could not stand on his feet was flagged by his chiefs and elders as the sub chiefs took to the floor to dance rhythmically as Sika is played on the background .

After Nana Effah Opinaman II, an educationist emphatically commended Asonaba for the song .

He said the Kwahus over some years were the front liners of Music through high Life Music like Sika adding that the song has become his heart warming one and prayed the music goes far and trend across boundaries.

Nana Effah also advised Asonaba not to change from this meaningful kind of Music to produce contemporary songs that fades within a twinkle of an eye.

After the Chief and his elders had received Asonaba and his team, a tradition prayer (Libation) was poured for Asonaba Music to go far and protected from evil plans.
