Celestine Donkor, a gospel singer, has pledged to assist in the search for the unnamed man who assaulted a street preacher.

The musician expressed her outrage in an Instagram post after witnessing the young preacher getting thrashed by a bystander who objected to the evangelist’s practice.

She stated that citizens in the country have the right to freedom of worship, therefore witnessing such an act defies logic.

“I will not rest until I see this guy arrested. May heaven not be quiet on this wickedness. How can you beat up someone like this just because he is preaching? What happened to our freedom of worship?” she said.

According to Celestine Donkor, this could lead to attacks from other preachers and gospel musicians.

She implored Christians not to remain silent in the face of the abuse.

“This is a no no no! Christians let’s not be quiet about this. No one can do this to a Muslim and go free,” she added.
