DJ I LOVE YOU CROWNED WINNER IN THE 4TH EDITION OF STREET DJS COMPETITION

The most anticipated Competition in kwahu for DJs on the street dubbed Eagle Extra Stout Street DJs Competition powered by Maxx Entertainment Ghana came up at Mpreaso Kwahu and had a winner named DJ I love you in the 4th edition.

This time the 4th edition which started in 2016,had a winner named DJ Zuma.Who now works with Afram FM in the Eastern region.Then the 2nd edition also had a winner who is called DJ Wow, now a Pub DJ for one of the biggest pub in kwahu in the Eastern region.The 3rd edition got a winner called DJ Ice Jr. who is having a scholarship into a media school but very fearsome to some pub and radio DJs because of his unique skills.

According to Maxx Entertainment Ghana manager,he said it is about time we appreciate DJs because without a DJ there’s no artiste in existence.And Maxx Entertainment Ghana team is trying to clear the perception of how people look down on DJs as people who should not be regarded,but they are the people who entertain everyone in the society.He added. There were 7 contestants for the competition namely DJ Damascus Jr,DJ Sark 2,DJ Bluetooth,DJ I love you,DJ Ntorewa,DJ Digital and DJ Polar.They all had the first round to pick and play the genre of music selected, which they were all given points by the three judges according to their performance.The second and third round became though,as a result,DJ Sark2, DJ Polar, DJ Ntorewa were evicted.

The final stage made DJ I love you who was leading in all the rounds to be crowned the winner, with the 1st runner-up DJ Damascus Jr,2nd runner-up DJ Bluetooth and 3rd runner-up DJ Digital.

The night saw beautiful performances from Asonaba, Elly Element, KO7, etc. Mrs Shalon Bibishe (Head of Station Okwawu FM), Kwame Koranteg (Head of Programs at Agoo FM/ Morning show host) and Anthony Nana Yeboah (Dabrehene, Traffics Manager at Life FM) were judges for the night.
