Organizers of the 2018 edition of Eastern Music Awards will be giving out special prizes to 5 selected prestigious categories.
The scheme, through sponsorship by Obour Multi Satellite, will reward the winners of the 5 categories with DSTV decoders.
These selected categories are Artiste of the year, East side song of theYear, New artiste of the year, High life artist of the year and Music Producer of the Year.
A lot of deliberations went into the selection considering the level of input the selected categories had in the nomination process.
The organizers as part of motivating winners of the awards, are looking forward to having more of such support from corporate bodies, individuals and institutions.
Work is ongoing to make this year’s awards a memorable one.

Please Note that Nominees Jams comes off on the 24th of November @ Jackson Park – Koforidua and the main event on 8th December, 2018 at St. Bakhita’s Parish Hall Koforidua.
