Omari Ayirebi Kwasi known as DJ Blay of EIB Network, Agoo FM based in Nkawkaw has appealed to his follow DJs in the Eastern Region to play more songs from artist in the region.
According to the The Record Promoter of the Year 2018 at the recently held Eastern Music Awards (EMA), 50 percent of music played should come from the artists in the region. This he believes will propel the regional based artistes to becoming household names nationwide
Dj Blay, however advised the musicians to invest more in quality production which which makes for easy promotion and enjoins air play from the Djs
In an interview with Kwame Koranteng on Agoo FM’s ‘’Ene Nso Biem’’ morning show, the multiple award winner, DJ Blay revealed that winning the Best Record Promoter of the year has been a long expected. Adding that, he has a promoter been able billed more shows for artists and help them in churning out good quality sounds.
“A music without good content lack its credibility,” he admitted
He used the opportunity to commend the organisers of Eastern Music Awards and promised his quota in ensuring a good and viable environment for the music industry in the Eastern Region.
