Hip-Life and Highlife sensation, Peter Famiyeh widely known as Fameye has emerged winner of the 2020 3Music Awards ‘Breakthrough Act of the Year’ category.
After securing his major hit with ‘Nothing I Get’, Fameye penetrated every corner in Ghana with back to back hits with songs like, Mati, Bisa, Obolo, Nobody Dey and many more to merit the award.
He beat OV, Kofi Mole, Lord Papper, MOG Music, Tulenkey and others win this prestigious plaque.
Due to the restriction on public gatherings, the awards ceremony held on Saturday, May 2 took place at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair in Accra and was streamed live on Joy Prime and 3Music’s social media handles.
The event was also graced by astounding performances from Kweku Smoke, KiDi, Mr Drew, Krymi and several others.
