The 7th edition of the Foklex Media Awards was last night held at the Golden Tulip Kumasi City where outstanding media personalities were honoured.
Foklex Media Awards, Organised by Foklex Media Productions is aimed at rewarding electronic media practitioners in the Eastern, Ashanti, Brong Ahafo, Central, Western, Volta and Northern regions.
Life FM’s Sports Presenter, Kosovo took home the Best English Sports Presenter of the Year award in the Eastern Region.

Kingdom FM’s late afternoon drive time show host, Londona known in private life as NAna Yawa Kumi Jnr also won the Drivetime Show host of The Year in the Eastern Region. DJ Blay Of Agoo 96.9 fm he also took home the Best DJ of The Year in the Eastern Region.
Sports Pundit of Obouba FM, Baba Kankani also grabbed Sports Presenter of the Year as news anchor Abena Pokuaa of Agoo FM won the Female Newscaster of The Year in the Eastern Region.
Kwaku Aboagye Appenteng won the male Newscaster of The Year in the Eastern Region . Agoo Fm’sAgoo Showbiz Corner in Nkawkaw also grabbed the Entertainment Show of the year in the Brong Ahafo Region.
Obouba FM’s Justina Ansah took home the Personality of the Year in the Eastern Region which recognizes outstanding media personalities whose work shows exemplary leadership towards building a great a future for Ghana’s media industry. She also grabbed the Best Mid Morning Show Host of the Year.
