‘I had ‘Mensesa me ho’ song from a momo agent who discriminated against me’, Pure Akan

Pure Akan, a talented songwriter and performer, has revealed that he wrote his “Mensesa me ho” song in response to discrimination by a mobile money agent.

In an interview with Dabrehene on Life FM Entertainment Show, Pure Akan revealed that a mobile agent refused to do business with him because he wore dreadlocks, thus he composed the song “mensesa me ho”.

‘One evening, I decided to go and redraw money from a mobile money agent, but the agent refused to offer his services to me because of my hair, so I decided to write the song “mensesa me ho’, he said.

“I know a lot of artists and individuals facing the same vilification as a result of their chosen path, but I urge each and every one to keep pushing and let their hustle go pay,” he advised.
