Koo Ntakra stated that the upcoming arts have meaningful lyrics in their songs unlike others

Upcoming Ghanaian rapper commonly known Koo Ntakra is pleading with the media industry especially Television and Radio presenters to concentrate on promoting upcoming artiste by playing their songs.
“Stop playing songs from Sarkodie and Shatta Wale and play songs by some of us because we sometimes makes sense than these A-list artistes” he said.

Koo Ntakra further stated that the upcoming arts have meaningful lyrics in their songs unlike others who just make noise. The young arts will be responsible for entertainment in the future when the likes of Sarkodie and the rest are no more.

“We the upcoming will take over if the likes of Sarkodie and Shatta Wale retire or are no more so of what use will it be if we are not receiving the necessary support,” he added.

The MTN hit maker second season winner, who raps in the Akwapim suggested to Eddy Blay on eTV’s “The Late Night Celebrity Show” that a law could be passed to that effect because the upcoming arts struggle to promote their music.

“A law should be passed to help the upcoming artiste because before winning MTN hit maker 2, one coca cola was all I got when I performed at weddings or parties,” he mentioned.

Koo Ntakra has entertained Ghanaians with hit songs like ‘wurawurafuo’, ‘move back’, 3suro since he shot to fame after winning the prestigious MTN hit maker season 2 award.
