Highlife legend, Amandzeba Nat Brew has one wish for how he would leave this earth; to die on the stage.
For the ‘Wogbe Jeke’ hit singer, it would be a dream come true living the last days of his life serving audiences with thrilling performances.
The musician reveals that even though he is about to retire from producing music, he will still be active with performances.
He told Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM that, “I would not really pull myself out of the scene…I would like to die on the stage, it would be beautiful. It would be fantastic, I mean where else?”
He made reference to the Ghanaian guitarist, composer, and bandleader Ebo Taylor who is still touring the world at age 87.
“So what excuse do I have to sit back and not do anything,” he quizzed.
With several years of experience and many rich highlife tunes to his credit, Amadzeba reveals during his retirement he would like to set up a consulting firm to offer good managerial services to artistes in Ghana.
He believes that he can offer proficiently manage talents who otherwise are being managed by people who ‘call themselves managers’ who may not understand that “what goes into managing artistes is very tricky.”
