Nana Yaw Kumi Junior known in the media fraternity as Londona of Kingdom 101.9 Fm In Koforidua has come out to defend himself over allegations which was aligned to him by Prince Johnson a media practitioner formerly with Emak 97.7FM saying, He is the architect and nominations manipulator so far as Eastern Region Awards Schemes are concerned.
On Friday 18th May, Prince Johnson revealed under a facebook post that, Londona has been manipulating award scheme nomination lists and also has been the architect of award schemes in the region. He said this, after Dj Tyma made a post in recommending the hard work of Dj Patoo of Tyt fm, which he asked Eastern Region Media Excellence Awards organizers to consider and offer him a nomination slot in the 2018 edition of the ERMEA.
Reacting to this, Londona has said that, he does not have enough time and to spend a minute on Prince Johnson and his empty allegations.
There is no truth in Prince’s claim and I will not indulge in such things with him. I am not an award organiser neither do I decide for an award company. Prince just wants to ride on me to hype himself but I wont give him that chance. I have less time for myself and to waste it on him. ~Londona tells Eagle Eye Media.
In the mean time, 2018 edition of Eastern Region Media Excellence Awards is scheduled to be launched on the 25th day of May at Koforidua Guest House under the theme, “Meeting Millennium Change for Development, The Role Of The Media”
