Award-winning gospel performer Diana Antwi Hamilton has offered some sound counsel to young ladies.
We have heard phrases like “fear men,” “men are scum,” “men will show you pepper,” and other phrases vilifying men during the past few years.
In an interview with Accra-based TV XYZ, Diana Hamilton warned women against making generalizations about men just because their last relationship was unpleasant
She insisted that while there are excellent men out there, women shouldn’t let the negative aspects of their prior relationship influence their current or future relationships.
“The fact that you met the wrong man does not mean every other man is wrong. I think the mistake some young ladies make is that they make the right guys pay for the sins of the bad ones,” she said.
The gospel diva further advised women not to seek money or gifts from their spouses before engaging in sexual activity.
“Why do you have to wait till sex time before you demand money from your husband? Taking money from your husband before sex is not right”. A woman who does that is equal to a commercial sex worker”, she added.
