Over the years, many celebrated Ghanaian musicians have changed their names to either match their act or to position themselves for the international market as names are impactful on success or otherwise of an art.

Change of name is seen as a strategic way to re-position an artiste brand and to stay afresh in the minds and on the lips of patrons and fans – Angel TV’s “Bar For Bar” reality show winner Young Prince in the same vain has re-branded from Young Prince to P4Prince.

When probed why he changed his name, Young Prince now “P4Prince” revealed that,
“Well, it was rebranding … I want to explore more into the world . I want to omit the Young and make my brand and music unique and easy to come by”.

P4Prince is currently working with a record label by name “MB Records”. He will be releasing his new single dubbed  “Wrong Turn” soon. Watch this space as we keep updating you on the young rapper “P4Prince”
