Late dancehall artiste Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, known by her stage name Ebony has made history by coming in as the over all Artiste of the Year at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
The late artiste beat powerful household names like Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale and 2017 Artiste of the Year winner, Joe Mettle to be adjudged the best artiste in Ghana.
She makes history by becoming the first female to win the award and the first to win the award retrospectively.
Late Ebony won the best afro pop song with her sound track sponsor and Best album of the year plus the most talked about award of the night Artiste of the year.
Bullet the manager of Ebony also took home the best song writer of the year with the song Maame Hw3.
